Dead by Daylight S-tier killers

The Nurse, Hillbilly, Blight, and Lich are the DBD killers of the S-tier list. These killers have unique powers that take the gameplay to the peak level and are very difficult to counter. Let’s discuss them in detail;

The Nurse

The Nurse is considered a potent killer of the S-tier killer. She has some unique blink ability with which she is a terror for all killers, the biggest threat for skilled survivors.  The Nurse is so powerful that she comes close to survivors in a blink, up to 20 meters, and attacks them in seconds before they can react. She is one of the stand-out and challenging killers with map control and the ability to end chases quickly. The downside is that at the time of blinking, the fatigue effect, she needs time to adjust her skills’ timing. During this, her movement slows down, and survivors escape from her reach.

Perks:

  • Stridor
  • Thanatophobia
  • A Nurse’s Calling

The Hillbilly

Hillbilly is the perfect killer for those players who want to move around the map and give tough times to survivors with exceptional abilities. Billy can move from one end of the map to another and kill all survivors who come in his path with his powerful chainsaw. Hillbilly is powerful due to Chainsaw Sprint places which put the strongest, healthy, and most potent Survivor in dying states with a single hit. In the game Dead by Daylight, Billy is a compelling villain for survivors.

Perks:

  • Enduring
  • Lightborn
  • Tinkerer

The Blight

The Blight in the S-tier killer list is similar to the Nurse killer, but it is very difficult to master it. If you become a pro or master using Blight and Nurse killing skills, then you become unstoppable once you do so. The Blight powers and Rush make you move extremely quickly around the map and close to the Survivor with little effort. You can’t attack a survivor in your first Rush; you must activate your lethal Rush by slamming the wall or obstacle. During this activation, you can attack victims and go closer to your victim. Be careful in the first Rush, and make sure to catch all walls and obstacles. If you forget, then Blight feels fatigued, and survivors get a chance to escape.

Perks:

  • Forced Penance
  • Trail of Torment
  • Deathbound

The Lich

The Lich, a powerful DBD killer, comes with Vecna’s spell wheel, a new mechanic in the game. You need to select from four icons that appear on the screen; you need to choose one spell from them. Once you are familiar with each spell and what it does, then you can quickly go with the Lich to control the map. Using his four spells, you can fly over obstacles, move or block pallets, launch damaging projectiles, and project an aura-revealing sphere. There are a lot of powers with the Lich, and you need to control or master them.

Perks:

  • Dark Arrogance
  • Languid Touch
  • Weave Attunement

Dead by Daylight A-tier killers

A-tier killers have a variety of abilities that shine at map pressure and pursuing targets. The A-tier killers can compete closely with the S-tier killers if you know how to utilize most of their abilities. Let’s analyze A-killers;

The Spirit

The Spirit is the top killer of the DBD killers A-tier list. Due to her fast-moving speed, strength, and power, she became the most dangerous killer of the DBD. The Spirit moves across the map in her spirit form and becomes invisible to survivors due to high speed. She moves extremely quickly, confusing survivors about where she is and where she appears. The disappearing power makes her unique among all killers, and only a tiny noise predicts her presence. She is still able to locate survivors via noises and scratch marks. Players need to buy the Spirit from an in-game shop.

Perks:

  • Spirit Fury
  • Haunted Ground
  • Rancor

The Wraith

The Wraith is one of the earliest killers in the game who has strong invisible power with wailing bells. Wraith don’t have any special powers or abilities that make them distinct; only strong, invisible turns make Wraith popular. He cannot attack the Survivor while choked; he must appear first and then attack. Wraith’s invisibility could be better; survivors can track him with a flashlight, which is common in the game. The Wraith’s moving speed increases in cloaked, but the movement speed slows down in uncloaked.

Perks:

  • Predator
  • Bloodhound
  • Shadowborn

The Executioner

The Executioner is a highly versatile monster killer from Silent Hill 2. An executor is available with a range of actions, which is complex for the player to handle, but an executor is a powerhouse of actions when you master its actions. With versatile abilities including robust range attack, control map or move around the map quickly, and tracking down the targets easily. His main power is Rites of Judgment, revealing the Survivor’s presence and inflicting torment. A Skilled Pyramid Head will be able to provide the current location of survivors and tell where they run. With this prediction, the Executioner uses special long-distance attack abilities to kill them.

Perks:

  • Forced Penance
  • Trail of Torment
  • Deathbound

The Huntress

Huntress’ ranged weapon, Hunting Hatchets, instead of ranged attack, makes her the top killer among Dead by Daylight killers. Only a few killers DBD can attack survivors with projectiles, and Huntress is one of them who through projectile attacks. Her eagle eye and sharp shot can kill the Survivor at the start of the game within a few minutes. A proficient Huntress player knows the precise angles and spots to launch the hatchets across the map, striking unsuspecting survivors from seemingly unreachable angles. Each trial starts with her with five hatchets, which she can easily replace at any locker.

Perks:

  • Beast of Prey
  • Territorial Imperative
  • Huntress Lullaby

The Mastermind

The Mastermind is one of the most favorite Dead by Daylight killers. He has strong ranged attack abilities (attack from long distances) and can carry survivors when he plays well. Wesker is a basic attack, but she kills the Survivor with her strong powers, Virulent Bound. Virulent Bound spreads the Uroboros Virus, and survivors get infected and lose health. The infection will increase slowly unless the Survivor uses First Aid Spray to get recovery. But the Spray reveals their location, and the killer again attacks them.

Perks:

  • No One Escapes Death
  • Claustrophobia
  • Bitter Murmur

The Good Guy

The Good Guy (chunky) is an exciting killer for freshers and experts. Chucky is still one of the most deadly killers, even after his modest post-release nerfs altered the agility of his Slice and Dice abilities. It is challenging to handle Good Guy if you are not already playing as a killer. Hidey-Ho Mode is his most potent power and ability to create immense grief and threats to survivors, which makes it undetectable for survivors. You must purchase from an in-game shop if you wish to play the game as The Good Guy (chunky) killer.

Perks:

  • Two Can Play
  • Friends’ Till The End
  • Batteries Included

The Xenomorph

The Xenomorph is a licensed killer from the Alien movie, Xenomorph added in Dead by Daylight killers. Lithe Arm is the primary weapon of the Xenomorph, and its terror radius is up to 32 meters. It can kill survivors in seconds with this dangerous weapon. The movement speed of the Xenomorph is so high that it becomes invisible or undetectable; its speed is 4.6 meters per second. When it comes to the Xenomorph speed abilities, they are emphasized by Runner Mode and Tail Attack. Runner Mode reduces the terror radius to 24 meters per second, but Tail attack mode enhances the range to 4.8 meters.

Perks:

  • Rapid Brutality
  • Alien Instinct
  • Ultimate Weapon

Dead by Daylight B-tier killers

Our DBD killer tier list’s B-Tier killers are neither overly strong nor sluggish. They live in the middle of things somewhere. They have a few weak points, yet they offer respectable talents.

Take a look at B-tier killer’s abilities;

The Unknown

The Dead by Daylight new killer, added in the last update, is a mystery. There is no name for this new killer, known as the unknown killer. Unknown has a unique interaction with weakened survivors and puts them in a state of health loss if blast areas touch them. This unknown creature sends an explosive projectile at survivors. This monster resembles something similar to humans and appears to be attempting to mimic human behavior. The creature can produce duplicates of itself and switch locations with them, although its species has not been identified.

Perks:

  • Unbound
  • Undone
  • Unforeseen

The Trickster

The Trickster is one of the appealing or eye-catching killers due to its boyish good look and character design. Trickster is not too strong and is a horrible killer overall. The Trickster’s ranged ability, Showstopper, enables him to hurl several knives at survivors, even through windows and over pallets. Although the Trickster’s powers were severely curtailed, resulting in only eight hits before the Main Event, this did not appear to enhance his desirability as a killer. He easily tracks the survivors’ locations by their footmarks and creates sabotaging generator repairs.

Perks:

  • Starstruck
  • Crowd Control
  • No Way Out

The Doctor

The Doctor is another DBD killer with a basic attack. Still, if you master The Doctor’s abilities, he is excellent for locating survivors, but he also slows down survivor progress. Carter’s Spark, the Doctor’s power, causes surrounding survivors to become mad, and the effect intensifies with each strike. Once you master the accuracy with The Doctor Carter’s Spark, the game is totally in your control. With Carter’s Spark, you can stop or slow down a survivor’s progress or movement, keep track of the Survivor’s location, and find where they are, changing the game in your favor.

Perks:

  • Overwhelming Presence
  • Monitor and Abuse
  • Overcharge

The Nemesis

The Nemesis is one of the terrifying and creepy killers in Dead by Daylight. There hasn’t been a killer that feels quite as terrifying as Nemesis marching swiftly behind you. Much like Plague, the Nemesis has a ranged attack ability with tentacle attacks that put survivors in a health loss state or infect them to slow down their progress.  Instead of The Nemesis powers or skills, two zombies are on the map. These two zombies create obstacles in the survivor way or generator repairing process and infect them if they come close too.

Perks:

  • Hysteria
  • Eruption
  • Agitation

The Skull Merchant

The Skull Merchant is a brutal killer in the game, which is difficult for the players to handle and master. Players need full attention to the surroundings, but once you get the hang of them, that’s what your drones are for. Interaction with Skull Merchant drones is slow; it takes some hunting time, but when you adjust with them, you can block off generators, reveal survivor locations, and put the game in the killer’s right hand. Her main power is Eyes in the Sky, exposing survivor locations, using multiple attacking tools, and sending protective drones to survivors.

Perks:

  • Game Afoot
  • Leverage
  • Thwack

The Artist

The Artist is another killer in the Dead by Daylight list with ranged attack skills. The main power of The Artist Carmina Mora is the control of crows, which reveal the Survivor’s location. You can send one of three crows with birds of torment and fly in front of you; then, these crows infect the survivors who come in their path. These crows do not attack distant survivors; they move in a circle above the survivors’ heads and reveal the locations of the survivors to you. Crows also create problems and build obstacles for survivors in generator repair.

Perks:

  • Grim Embrace
  • Pain Resonance
  • Pentimento

The Knight

The Knight is another complex killer, challenging to master with his skills, and comes with a violent vengeance to exact some severe punishment. The powers and abilities of the Knight are challenging and complex, but if you master them, you are a real devastating danger to the survivors. Knight has Summons guards with dynamic AI that enable clever moves like survivor chases and generator kicks.

Perks:

  • Nowhere To Hide
  • Face The Darkness
  • Hubris

DBD C-tier killers

The C-tier killers are the weakest in the game; they have low powers and few fighting and killing abilities. When it comes to their weak points and lack of abilities, that’s why they are placed in the C-tier list. It would help if you used only them when you have no other options. Move further and see their powers and weaknesses;

The Legion

The Legion is a new killer added to the game in the last update, but it is not too good or exciting. However, Legion has unique abilities, including quick attacks on injured survivors and slowing their progress. Feral Frenzy increases movement speed, and the special attack, Feral Slash, requires five hits to down the Survivor. You can use a Feral Slash attack to injure the Survivor and control the map.

Perks:

  • Discordance
  • Mad Grit
  • Iron Maiden

The Plague

Plague is another gripping killer in the game; her ability to destroy all objects around the map makes her attractive. Her power is based on her Vile Purge, which creates immense grief for survivors. The Vile Purge sends survivors into a state of sickness and eventually puts them into an injured state. Survivors not only get skinless effects, but sickness infection spreads around the map when survivors meet with other survivors or objects. If she uses Corrupt Purge, it corrupts survivors or objects. When survivors come in contact with corrupt survivors or objects, they, too, get corrupted. There is a need for plaque cleansing with the corrupt; if she is not cleaned, her abilities become limited.

Perks:

  • Corrupt Intervention
  • Infectious Fright
  • Dark Devotion

The Hag

The Hag performs the same role or function as the killer Trapper does. She has excellent trap ability; she sets up a trap around the map for unsuspecting survivors, and when survivors come too close or left, she can teleport them at a long distance. The Hag can teleport to the activated traps and begin a chase at any moment, giving survivors a serious jump scare. However, the best players for Hag are those who are focused since the killer can become distracted by survivors setting traps repeatedly.

Perks:

  • The Third Seal
  • Ruin
  • Devour Hope

The Deathslinger

The Deathslinger is rated as a moderate killer and one of the most accessible killers to master for beginners. His main power is his weapon, Redeemer, a gun or rifle that fires a chain that binds and drags the Survivor toward the Deathslinger. Once you drag survivors toward you, then in a single hit, you can down them; it means the game is dependent on a single hit. That’s why it creates an immense threat or terrifying situation for survivors.

Perks:

  • Gearhead
  • Dead Man’s Switch
  • Retribution

The Oni

The Oni is a great killer, and mostly, the Oni playstyle or functions is similar to Hillbilly. He is an incredible killer who quickly covers a long distance with his Demon Dash. With the Demon strike, he can put survivors from a healthy state into a dying state.  When he injures survivors, the Survivor’s blood orbs become Oni’s power. For Oni to become a powerful killer, he needs to absorb many blood orbs by injuring survivors at least once.

Perks:

  • Zanshin Tactics
  • Blood Echo
  • Nemesis

The Pig

The Pig is another exciting killer. If you use it well, your success is confirmed, but if you do wrong, this killer works in the favor of the Survivor. She is the best killer who represents the Saw franchise. In typical Saw shows, she appears in jigsaw-esque traps around the map, destroying survivors. The Pig places a reverse bear trap on the Survivor’s head, not giving them time to take it off. That’s why survivors die a horrible and miserable death.

Perks:

  • Hangman’s Trick
  • Surveillance
  • Make Your Choice

The Ghost Face

Ghost Face, an iconic killer from the Scream franchise, is one of the stealthy killers in the Dead by Daylight. The Ghost Face has no horror radius until he’s chasing you, which makes him relax to escape from or to observe peeking around corners. The Ghost Face creeps behind the survivors around the map and mainly attacks those survivors who are repairing generators alone. He creates a challenge and scares the Survivor, which makes him attractive.

Perks:

  • I’m All Ears
  • Thrilling Tremors
  • Furtive Chase

The Dead by Daylight D-tier killers

The worst murderers that are used in Dead by Daylight are these D-tier killers. They are weak, lack strong abilities, and will make you feel more stressed. As a result, they are included under D in our Dead By Daylight Tier.

The Cannibal

The Cannibal is a killer from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Cannibal wields a chainsaw around his hand and moves it wildly, injuring or killing any survivor who comes in his path with a single hit of the chainsaw. However, he has a temper tantrum and becomes immobile for a short while while swinging his chainsaw wildly if he hits an object. The tantrum is almost impossible to stop, but if a survivor is within striking distance when it occurs, they will be taken out as if he were to hit them with the sweep.

Perks:

  • Knock Out
  • Barbecue & Chilli
  • Franklin’s Demise

The Demogorgon

In terms of appearance, the Demogorgon appears terrifying but, indeed, not the most terrifying among Dead by Daylight killers. The Demogorgon can set up a single portal he can access whenever possible. Maintaining pressure on survivors may always be achieved by teleporting around the map. His main power is quick hunting and excellent map control, breaking pallets and anything coming in his path. Additionally, the Demogorgon can activate Of the Abyss, which reveals survivors’ location or tells who are close to activated portals and makes it jump when attacking.

Perks:

  • Jolt
  • Claustrophobia
  • Fearmonger

The Trapper

The Trapper is one of the Dead by Daylight killers who are professional in placing bear traps around the map to trap the Survivor and put them from a healthy state to a dying state. Although it’s an essential ability, survivors can manually trip the traps to avoid stepping in them, making it annoying to repeatedly re-arm them. It is difficult for survivors to understand where the trap spot is, but the professional or skilled player knows about dealing with bear traps very well.

Perks:

  • Unnerving Presence
  • Brutal Strength
  • Agitation

The Nightmare

The Nightmare is commonly known as Freddy Krueger; at the start, when he was added to the Dead by Daylight game, he was considered the worst killer, but after some updates, he has become a feasible killer. Dream Demon, the Nightmare’s skill, gives him extreme versatility. Active at all times, Dream Demon sucks survivors into the Dream World, impeding their efforts to accomplish goals. The Nightmare also creates or sets up obstacles in the survivors’ path and creates difficulties in their running. Also, the Nightmare can teleport straight to running generators to set up surprise attacks.

Perks:

Fire Up

Remember Me

Blood Warden
